In Greek the word 'Meraki' means to do something with soul, creativity, love, or to put essence of yourself in the work that you do. Each Fall , Kabira at Berkeley's Meraki festival, offers artists to display or exhibit their craft to the diverse community at Cal.
Sharing South Asian Scripts at International Education Week Fall 2016
International Education Week at Cal is a celebration of the benefits of international education and exchange. Kabira at Berkeley had the privilege to introduce to the community the appearance of South Asian scripts, mainly Punjabi and Hindi. While some wished to see how their first name would be translated, others took interest in visualising meaningful words that held personal significance to them.

Cal's beloved Hindi Professor Pranjali Sirasao handpicked classic verses sparking interesting conversations among students and also aided in translating them for those who were unfamiliar with the language.
